Jackson Boelts

Designer, Educator, Artist

Personal Website: jacksonboelts.com

I have been an artist since I was in grade school and I was taught by my mother to watercolor when I was twelve. I have continued working in this media today creating large 4 ft. X 8 ft. watercolors. This way of seeing brings a different perspective to my design work and to my teaching as a professor at the University of Arizona.

I have worked on logos to illustrations and large national advertising campaigns to signage systems for large cities and communities. My teaching is an integral part of my interest: I bring the professional world into the class room and the energy of the students is brought back to the studio. Each of these disciplines influences the other in a positive way.
